EXPOSED: Cardinal Njue’s daughter is called Faith Njue, lives in Australia

1
By Osugo Moseti
8th Aug. 2014
After an  excommunicated Roman Catholic female preacher went public with promiscuity at top levels of the catholic church in Kenya, more parishioners are coming out to expose what could be one of the worst sexual tragedies to hit a church which has been condemned worldwide for sexual molestation of minors.
The ex-nun Florence Kariuki, who claims to have been expelled from the church for standing for purity, revealed in an extensive interview with the Nairobian Newspaper that top catholic clergy in Kenya are secretly fathering children.
Cardinal Njue, also accused of sexual philandering, but is being covered and protected by a spirited ”don’t tell” defensive campaign by a host of officials in the catholic church, is alleged to have fathered a child, now a grown up doctor, working in western Australia.
“I can assure you that Faith Njue (the daughter’s name) is my colleague. I’ve worked with her for seven years but she’s ashamed of her father, who is the head of the Kenyan catholic church – John Cardinal Njue” emailed a Kenyan to this writer.
The source who requested anonymity to keep their friendship informed Kenya Today that Faith is a doctor.
Bishop Florence Kariuki claims that she was expelled from the church because of her persistence in challenging priests to lead a holy life, away from their clandestine amorous lifestyles, marked with fatherless children and broken marriages.
“Some of the priests were promiscuous, a habit I was against. They should come out and admit that they have children instead of living in deceit, having fathered children with people’s wives and young women,” charged Bishop Kariuki.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has said the international community is not doing enough to support Kenya in the fight against terrorism.
In an interview with CNN in Washington, DC, on Tuesday, Mr Kenyatta said terrorism is not country-specific but a global problem.
“The world needs to recognise the fact that this is a global threat which requires to be countered by a global partnership in order to defeat and secure, not just Kenya, but the world,” he told Richard Quest, the host of a popular show "Quest Means Business."
“We recognise that security is key in ensuring long-term stability and investment,” said President Kenyatta.
He noted that when the United States was attacked by terrorists, the whole world rallied behind the country.
“This is what we would like to see in the East Africa,” he said.
TRAVEL ADVISORIES HURTING
Asked whether Kenya felt “a bit alone” in the war on terror, President Kenyatta said Kenyan forces were in Somalia together with troops from other African nations but added: “We would like to see the world rally behind us and fully support our mission in Somalia so that our forces can expand their operations and reduce the area of Al-Shabaab’s operation.”
He said travel advisories issued by some countries against Kenya were not only hurting the country but the whole world.
“They don’t help in defeating these terrorists. If anything, they encourage and strengthen them,” he said.
In the recent past, a number of Western nations, including the United States and the United Kingdom, have issued travel advisories to their citizens, citing insecurity in Kenya.
“We feel that the world is not doing enough to support us,” said President Kenyatta.
President Kenyatta is in the US for the US-Africa summit hosted by Barack Obama.

  • Rihanna was a big fan of the recent World Cup in Brazil over the summer and posted several pictures on Instagram page of herself supporting the home nation until they were ruthlessly dumped out of the competition 7-1 by Germany.
  • Rihanna is not the only big name star who has been interested in taking over a UK team as rapper Snoop Dogg previously admitted he was thinking about investing in Scottish champions Glasgow Celtic and P. Diddy was said to be in talks to buy Crystal Palace in 2010 because he likes their name.

Rihanna wants to buy a UK football club.
The 26-year-old singer is said to be "really serious" about setting up a sports academy in her native Barbados and then becoming a chairwoman or owner for a team in England, so much so she has been getting some advice from her friend, Chelsea player Didier Drogba.
A source close to the Bajan beauty said: "At first we thought Rihanna's desire to be involved with football on a business level would soon blow over.
"We figured she was still on a high from the World Cup. But now it's becoming clear she really is serious.
BIG FAN
"She's talking about setting up a football academy in her native Barbados. Then her big dream is to be involved with a UK club."
While Rihanna has previously confessed to being a Liverpool fan, it is also thought the 'S&M' hitmaker could consider taking over a club in Los Angeles.
The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: "Britain is like a second home to her, although she's also hinted she may do something with an LA team."
Rihanna was a big fan of the recent World Cup in Brazil over the summer and posted several pictures on Instagram page of herself supporting the home nation until they were ruthlessly dumped out of the competition 7-1 by Germany.
The star then went on to support Germany in the final, which they won by overcoming Argentina with an extra-time winner from Mario Gotze.
Rihanna is not the only big name star who has been interested in taking over a UK team as rapper Snoop Dogg previously admitted he was thinking about investing in Scottish champions Glasgow Celtic and P. Diddy was said to be in talks to buy Crystal Palace in 2010 because he likes their name.
What's more, Hollywood legend Tom Hanks is a big fan of English heavyweights Aston Villa, also because he is a fan of their moniker, and Sylvester Stallone has been to watch Everton on several occasions.

Kenya Airways has received its third Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft from the United States.
The aircraft, which landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi on Monday, was flown in by Captain John Mathias Kimani, who is also the B787 fleet manager.
Kenya Airways Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Titus Naikuni said the delivery of the third B787 boosts its position in Africa.
“The Dreamliner is our flagship aircraft. We are investing in this model as part of our fleet renewal programme, not only because of its advanced features but also the boost it gives to our long-haul capability,” he said.
CONSUMES LESS FUEL
The airline expects to receive three more Boeing 787 Dreamliner planes by the end of the year.
The first two Dreamliners — "Great Rift Valley" and "Zambezi River" — have already been deployed to commercial service, flying to Paris and Johannesburg respectively.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a state-of-the-art aircraft that consumes less fuel.
It features the latest aerodynamics, design and advanced technologies and provides better fuel efficiency of up to 20 per cent compared with other long-haul aircraft.
The B787 also offers passengers on-board comfort with reduced noise, higher ceilings, bigger windows, flat beds in the premier world cabin, smoother flight, lower cabin pressure, higher humidity levels and ambient mood lighting.

ADKAMPALA, Friday
Uganda's constitutional court has overturned the anti-gay law that had been branded draconian by rights groups, saying it was wrongly passed by Parliament.
The law is "null and void," the presiding judge told the court, saying the process contravened the constitution, as it had been passed in December without the necessary quorum of lawmakers.
"Justice prevailed, we won," said lawyer Nicholas Opiyo, who led the challenge in the constitutional court. The law's supporters said they would appeal the ruling at the Supreme Court.
"The retrogressive anti-homosexuality act of Uganda has been struck down by the constitutional court it's now dead as a door nail," said Andrew Mwenda, one of 10 petitioners.
JAILED FOR LIFE
The law, signed by Uganda's veteran President Yoweri Museveni in February, said that homosexuals should be jailed for life, outlawed the promotion of homosexuality and obliged Ugandans to report gays to the authorities.
But homosexuality remains illegal and punishable by jail sentences under previous legislation, which is expected to be returned after the court's decision.
Lawmakers could also seek to reintroduce a Bill back into parliament, a potentially lengthy process, with the last such Bill taking four years from introduction to the final vote.
But gay rights activists were celebrating on Friday. "I am no longer criminal, today we have made history for generations to come," said Kasha Jacqueline, another petitioner and a prominent gay rights activist.
APPEAL THE RULING
Outspoken anti-gay preacher Pastor Martin Ssempa led prayers before the hearing inside the tightly packed courtroom calling for the judges to uphold the law.
Ssempa had already warned he feared the "judicial abortion of our Bill" due to international pressure, and said immediately he would appeal the ruling.
"We are determined to appeal this case at the Supreme Court," he said. US Secretary of State John Kerry has likened the law to anti-Semitic legislation in Nazi Germany.
Critics have said Museveni signed the law to win domestic support ahead of a presidential election scheduled for 2016, which will be his 30th year in power.
But Western nations made a raft of aid cuts to Uganda's government in protest since the law was passed.
Rights groups say the law triggered a sharp increase in arrests and assaults of members of the country's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.
