category. Her story traced the experiences of a 13-year-old who was
married, circumcised and divorced in a year after developing childbirth
complications.
Mr Swila was celebrated for a story on the missed goals of Kenyan football.
Ms
Oketch was the best in arts and culture for a story on how ropes used
to commit suicide are sought-after items around Lake Victoria.

Veteran journalists Joe Kadhi and Esther Kamweru received the Lifetime Achievement award.
