The Orange Democratic Party has said that nominated Member of Parliament Dr Oburu Oginga is not going to East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA).
A statement from ODM communications officer Dennis Onyango clarified that the party had considered to nominate the legislator, something he had rejected.
“While the Orange Democratic Movement had considered nominating him to the seat, Dr Oginga formally declined this offer last week and instead asked the party to give priority to one of those whose nominations were shot down by Jubilee last time,” said Mr Onyango.
He added that Dr Oginga will address the matter broadly in a press conference on Monday.
