COTU, Secretary General Francis Atwoli Denies Killing Kabete MP George Muchai


Kenyans are still receiving the news in shock of the brutal murder of Kabete MP George Muchai early Saturday. The incident that occurred in the wee morning hours has caused an uproar from all political quarters. President Uhuru Kenyatta has asked for thorough investigations be carried out to unearth what exactly resulted to his murder. Joseph Nkaiserry, The Cabinet Secretary for Security, has issued strict directives to authorities under him to hastily carry out investigations and produce results in shortest time possible. Meanwhile politicians and Kenyans in general are still sending messages of condolence to the MP’s family. COTU Secretary General Mr Francis Atwoli, has also voiced in saying that, he wants the Criminal Investigations Department to generate qualitative forensic analysis of the killing of Kabete MP George Muchai that occurred early Saturday. It should be remember that, the late MP had taken Atwoli to court for alleged mismanagement of Central Organization of Trade Union,COTU funds.This is meant to clear all rumors that he is the one behind the MP’s demise. Mr Atwoli says that, it is publicly and widely known that the two had differences but, he further agrees that it was healthy pull and push tag truly they were brothers and colleagues. He has further disclosed that they grew up together in Nairobi and have been friends for the last 50 years.
