The secret pact entered between President Uhuru Kenyatta and National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga could be slowly taking shape.
This fact was perfectly expounded in photos from CITAM Church Rongai where Raila Odinga was accompanied by George Muhoho, Uhuru’s uncle.
The presence of the powerful man on Raila’s entourage spoke volumes as he is believed to be one of the most powerful men who are behind the scenes in Uhuru’s presidency.
It could not also be missed that Mama Ngina, Muhoho’s sister, was said to have played a major role in the historic handshake between the two political dynasties at the steps of Harambee House a few weeks ago.
This ‘gesture’ comes amidst talk of rift in NASA that was further complicated by the removal of Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula as leader of Minority.
Breathing fire, Senator Wetangula claimed that the betrayal was on Raila for siding with Jubilee and declared that he would wage a political resurgence that will make Raila's pact with Uhuru uncomfortable.
"Despite us fighting relentlessly and some people losing their lives, the subsequent conduct of our presidential candidate is not only shocking but a betrayal of the highest order, " said Wetang'ula.
