The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) of the U.S. Department of State is accepting applications for Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders.
The mission of this program is to to build and sustain a prestigious network of young Sub-Saharan leaders across critical sectors, cement stronger ties between Sub-Saharan Africa and the United States, and
prepare the participants for follow-on leadership opportunities in Africa, with the goal of strengthening democratic institutions and spurring economic growth and development on the continent.
Thematic areas-
Business and Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership, and Public Management.
Eligibility & Criteria-
Applications may be submitted by public and private non-profit organizations meeting the provisions described in Internal Revenue Code section 26 USC 501(c)(3).
