Meet Kenya's first Albino MP, nominated by ODM
Do you need some inspiration today? HERE IT IS!
Meet Kenya's first Albino MP, nominated by ODM. At 30 years old, he has just been nominated & gazetted as a Member of the National Assembly.
His story is very inspiring! A son of a single Mother from a humble background, he schooled at the Thika School for the Blind before joining Kenyatta University.
At Kenyatta, he faced with and overcame stigma and other daunting challenges to even actively participate in student leadership! Even though he graduated with a 2nd Class Lower division, he still went ahead to win two Masters Scholarships: One at Nelson Mandela University in South Africa & the other at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom.
Therefore, despise his small beginnings and in spite of daunting challenges, he has triumphed! And this is only the beginning! He has now gone to the books of history as the First MP with Albinism in Kenya. Hello people, please join us in congratulating Hon Isaac Maigua Mwaura. Isaac, you have reminded us that there are no impossibilities for those who believe!
Go brother, go make us even prouder. Live your life without limits for there will be none for you: we wish you the best of everything Isaac!
