Israel to honour Raila Odinga by naming top Military college after him

Prime Minister Raila Odinga left to attend the first ever Africa-Israel Policy and Leadership that opened on Monday 7 in Israel. Upon his arrival at Tel Aviv Airport, he was received like a king by senior Israeli government officials unlike Uhuru Kenyatta who was welcomed by factotums from Kenyan embassy in Israel.
Raila delivered a thunderous speech at the conference that was organized by The Harry S. Truman Research Institute of Advancement of Peace, Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Africa Centre for Peace.
Following Raila’s brilliance, eloquence, adeptness in leadership, humility and political resilience, the Israeli philosophers Association with Israel has in conjunction with the Israeli government, has decided to reward him by naming a higher learning institution after him.
The government is contemplating on whether to build a new university or rechristen the already existing one.
The new institution is likely to be named ‘Raila Odinga University of Nuclear and Military Engineering’
It is however reported that State House Nairobi is uncomfortable with the development and is in talks with the Israeli government to discard the idea or have Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta honoured instead
