Ye who never sinned, cast a stone on the CJ

I have seen a number of posts where mud is being thrown at Chief Justice Willy Mutunga. My crystal ball (better than Makau Mutua’s) tells me it has everything to do with the Supreme Court ruling which confirmed Uhuru Kenyatta the duly elected president.
Cord supporters should not blame the CJ, but should blame their party that run a campaign full of false promises, assurances and hopes.
We were promised fair and free nominations. You all know what happened. We were told the coaliton had a Sh12 billion war chest. You all know how the campaign looked like.
We were all assured of a Round One knockout; we kept the faith! As results trickled in, we were told to remain cool as Cord strongholds were still intact. Then came Nithi, then Emurua Dikkir, Tiati, Molo ...
We were assured Cord would assemble the best of the best lawyers. No doubt about that. But then, we were told of a water-tight petition.
Ngugi wa Thiong’o’s Barrel of a Pen has some very arresting words about Dr Mutunga: “... perhaps his greatest crime was giving free legal advice to the poor. This was never heard of in Kenya...” Yes, this is the man many want to ridicule.
Jubilee supporters must also cut their hypocrisy. As the petition was going on, they were doing unto Mutunga what they today condemn!
So all ye Jubilee or Cord supporters who have tried to taint the image of Mutunga, you can as well give us your favourite Chief Justice.
